During the 7 days of the hackathon, you'll receive educational material teaching you the best frontend practices in building world-class user interfaces.
These will be very valuable in helping you implement your solution to the Hackathon Challenge. It's not just a hackathon, but an experience to rapidly grow your skills as a frontend engineer.
At the end of the hackathon, you'll get a full outline of your results, a detailed solution to the challenge, and if you're one of the top 33, you win a prize.
There are no losers. By participating in this hackathon, you'll learn everything you need to become a frontend champion.
This hackathon is designed for anyone who has an understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript. Nothing else is required. Ideally you are a frontend developer, but anyone with these skills is welcome to join the challenge.
Immediately. Once you sign up, you'll receive an email with all the instructions on what the challenge is, what you need to do and how to submit your solution. You can start anytime, and submit anytime before Nov 27th.
After you sign up, you'll receive a very detailed document of the judging criteria. During the hackathon, you'll also receive tutorials and emails to help you submit a more outstanding solution.
You will only need to provide your bank account details to receive the prize money.
The first place wins ₦ 500,000. Second place and third place both win ₦ 250,000 each. The next 10 best projects win ₦ 50,000 each. The next 20 best projects win ₦ 25,000 each. All together we have 33 possible winners for this hackathon.
